Reviewer:
I was impressed with this hair with my first trial! I managed MANY versatile styles with this hair! For styling curly I'd wet the hair & used a medium hold mouse to set it in place as it air dried or some times I speed up the process using a hand held hair dryer on low setting...strategicaly fingering the hair into place. This process makes the colors of highlights POP! I'd wear it a few days like this. After a few days it can become crunchy hard because styling with mouse over several days. No worries... I'd wet it when styling put some conditioner mixed with my mouse in the palm of my hand & style(try morracan oil mixed with the mouse as a alternative). No need to rinse plus keeps it smelling GOOD (Try herbal essence)! Then on my way as usual. Con: Curl did loosen to a gorgeous body wave after two washes. Washing: I detangled really good using cheap conditioner (You can spend the money if you want. Tresemme in a huge bottle with a pump for about $4 worked great for me). Becareful on shampoing with ANY hair weave. I've learned from experience you can strip the hair easily causing it to matt destroying all that money you put into purchasing that weave. Honestly I had to cut a weave off from the track because it locked when I washed it but it wasn't this hair! :). I use a little amount of a gentle shampoo taking care not to tangle & matt the hair during the process, rinse it out, then followed by good inexpensive conditioner. While its wet I use a wide tooth comb doing all detangling. I've been warned not to use a hair dryer. I'm hard headed & impatient & I did on low setting to dry my wefts. No complaints on the hair. I even ran a straightening iron 400F daily & went from a culry to a sexy, sophisticated sleek straight look. Also it hold curls real nicely when using a curling iron on high heat 400F. I'm abusive on hair hence that why I wear a weave so im not trashing my own natural locks/kinks :) I'm tough on my weaves! This hair can take a beating & keeping on going. This hair rocks!!! I honestly washed every 1-3 days depending on what my styling mood or time constraints I was facing for the day. Now it time to get my weave redone because of my own new hair growth...YAY!!! I got two packs of hair I've been wearing & I'm actually going to re-use it because its still good qaulity. I just only need a new closure. I'm an advocate for this hair & I'm a African-American women. I recommend once in a while use a lil bit of moisturizer in it...seems to help keep it managable & soft. :)
